This week’s theme is: “You couldn’t not like someone who liked the guitar. A cover which features a guitar.
Now, this sounded like a simple one. Just find a fantasy book with a guitar on the cover. No problem. I even had a few novels which instantly came to mind, but once I looked at them I discovered the people were playing lutes, harps, and ever other kind of instrument except for a guitar.
So I had to dig deeper. Do some research outside my reading list. And eventually I found what I considered the perfect book cover.

I have to admit this was a tough choice. I actually like the weird vibe of Cover A. But, ultimately, I came back to my initial pick, which was Cover B. I love everything about it from the guitar to the death figure to the layout and colors.

The flaming guitar on C isn’t bad, but cover B just says so much more.

Cover B definitely. Though, that guitar on cover A certainly has a rather phallic look to it!😂

lol… An EXCELLENT choice of book for this week’s theme – and SNAP! We both chose the same book. I also included a much earlier Josh Kirby cover, which was my favourite. I have to say, I don’t think much of many of the later Pratchett covers. But I do prefer your choice to all the others – though I don’t like the colours – too dreary for such a vibrant, quirky read.

I like the first one: even though I never read Pratchett, I heard enough of his peculiar brand of humor to know that a skeleton-guitar would be quite fun… 🙂

I like your choice too. Flaming guitars and guitars made of bones are cool and all, but nothing beats just the classic shape.
